Description & Services

Description The Caledon Parent-Child Centre/Earlyon Child and Family Centre is a non-profit community service organization that provides support, resources, and education that strengthen families and promote the optimal development of children. Parents and caregivers with young children can access a wide variety of free parenting and child development programs and family support services. Programs and services are delivered from a main location in Bolton, a satellite site in Cheltenham, and various rural communities through a Mobile Outreach Unit.

Children's Early Learning: 
Family Time drop-in sessions for parents, caregivers and children; 
children's play opportunities, creative and early enrichment activities; interactive adult/child early learning, literacy and school readiness programs (e.g. You and Your Baby; Mother Goose; Learning Through Play, Creative Kids, Discovery Time, etc.) 
 
Parenting Education: 
Pregnancy, parenting, infant health and attachment programs; parent/caregiver education workshops; couple/family enrichment programs; parent/caregiver resource library; Red Cross Babysitting Certification Course 
 
Family Support Services: 
Open Door information and referral services; Adjustments After Birth postpartum Support Group; onsite consultations and clinics for detection and early intervention; Let's Get Together support program for families parenting a child with special needs; child care information 
 
Mobile Outreach Unit: 
Families with young children can drop in for a variety of children's early learning activities, socialization, and parenting support in the following rural communities throughout Caledon: Alton, Cheltenham, Caledon East, Inglewood and Valleywood.

*Mon, Tue, Wed: 9-11:30am & 1-3pm 
*Thu: 9-11:30am & 1-3pm 
*Fri: 9-11:30am 
*Sat: 9am - 12:30pm
