Description & Services

Description The Dam is a community program for youth (13-19yrs). All teens are welcome, free of charge, to come to the drop-in and participate in the programs. The drop-in provides a positive, healthy, encouraging and neutral turf environment that is drug-free and alcohol-free. 
 
Drop-in Program: 
Offers a safe, fun place where youth can hang-out and get help when they need it. Provides a positive, healthy, encouraging environment for youth by offering free programs welcoming all regardless of race, colour, and creed and developing long-term, caring, consistent, one on one relationships. 
 
In addition to daily drop-in times The Dam offers youth volunteer, mentor, leadership, and employment readiness programs. 
 
Drop-ins are currently running in Meadowvale at Meadowvale Town Centre and in Cooksville at 3115 Hurontario St. opposite T L Kennedy High School 
 
Volunteer opportunities available.
Hours Office: Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm 
Drop-ins: after-school and some evening programs at both locations Meadowvale and Cooksville.
