Description | The YMCA of Greater Toronto is committed to broadening and deepening our work in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, to support more equitable outcomes with Indigenous communities and equity-deserving groups in the Peel region with and intersectional approach to this work. Licensed Home Child Care Programs offer daily care to children from birth to 12 years of age. We ensure that all homes under our supervision operate according to the Child Care Early Years Act (CCEYA) and the YMCA's Philosophy. We strive to gear play and learning experiences to each child's individual needs, interests, and abilities. The ministry of Education's Pedagogy "How Does Learning Happen?" is the philosophy through which our caregivers operate. |
